How would you describe your lab in one word?
We aim to conduct research that goes beyond conventional concepts in biology and pioneers new scientific fields. Using Drosophila as our primary model organism, we have explored diverse topics including the development of olfactory neural circuits, the relationship between olfaction and physiological states, the regulation of innate cannibalistic behavior, the regulation of membrane protein topology, and the in vivo interactions between cancer cells and normal cells. Throughout these researches, we have worked extensively with various GTP-regulating molecules. We hope that our approaches can make a contribution to the advancement of GTP biology.
