How would you describe your lab in one word?
Our group focuses on the redox state at the cellular and tissue levels and is engaged in developing fluorescent probes that enable visualization of these states within cells. Furthermore, we aim not only to “observe” redox states but also to elucidate the biological responses triggered by intentional perturbation of these states. To this end, we are advancing the development and application of both chemical and genetic tools. In particular, our group is dedicated to the design of inhibitors and their development into molecular probes, while also taking on the challenge of developing new technologies that enable the regulation of GTP levels within living systems.
